We believe in a better homeland
We Are
The Homeland Supporting Development Foundation is an Egyptian non-governmental, non-profit organization registered with the Ministry of Social Solidarity under number (9822). It was founded by a group of senior consultants and development experts with a community-oriented vision, who have worked in the field of development since the end of the last century under the umbrella of the International Development Support and Consulting Foundation (IDSC), a consulting firm specializing in the development and implementation of sustainable development programs.
In response to the legislative reforms of 2014, which stipulated the need to bring civil society organizations under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the “Homeland Supporting Development Foundation” was established as a non-profit entity affiliated with the IDSC, allowing for the continuation of development work while adhering to national laws.
The team comprises an elite group of experts with over 30 years of experience working with prestigious international organizations, such as: the International Labour Organization (ILO), the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the Center for Development Support (CDS), and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). Their expertise covers multiple fields, including: health, economic development and education, technical education development, entrepreneurship, gender rights, peacebuilding, refugee support, and capacity building for civil society organizations.
The team also has high efficiency in project design, monitoring and evaluation, community mapping, and local resource mobilization, enabling the organization to implement effective, evidence-based interventions that meet the real needs of the target communities.
